After
10 years of solid growth, and 230 franchisees, Hire A Hubby is continuing
with it’s national expansion strategy. This involves increasing
our existing capital city franchise numbers, and penetrating new
regional and country centres.
Our
National coverage has meant we are now fielding requests from a
large number of commercial and corporate clients who need maintenance
services in multiple locations around the country. With a strong
commitment to OH&S awareness, and by providing a central administrative
centre for these new clients, this new breed of client is helping
us grow at a rate not previously experienced.
Franchisees
are coming from many different backgrounds. Whilst we do recruit
our share tradesmen, we are seeing an increasing number of new franchisees
coming from careers such as Finance & Banking, The Armed Forces,
Police/Fire/Ambulance, Sales & Marketing, IT, Trucking Industry,
Chefs, and many other vocations. They all share one thing in common;
they have all done general handyman work in their own home, and
that of their friends, relatives and neighbours. The thing is, they
just haven’t been paid for it. Hire A Hubby can change all
of that, and quickly.
Franchising
contributes 10% of National GDP per annum, and the services industry
is amongst the fastest growing component of our national spending.
With less and less people now completing trade based apprenticeships,
and with the country not replacing it’s retired tradesmen,
this is adding to the demand for the Hire A Hubby service.
Whilst
Hire A Hubby is renowned for the small jobs, we are also very proficient
with bigger projects, the types that tradesmen don’t turn
up to do. Kitchen and bathroom renovations, pergola and decking
work are part of a day’s work.
For
the career orientated franchisees, we have recently developed a
qualified maintenance support team that are available to assist
our franchisees keep up with their growing businesses. Whether you
need someone extra to help occasionally, or you want to grow your
business in a controlled method, franchisees can use this service
whenever they need to, and grow their business to the size that
best suits them.
