: quick question, what kind of public transportation options are there to go back and forth from trailheads? i keep reading about access by car, what happens to visitors, who want to hike and not drive around? there seem to be a few private transportation companies like brewster and white mountain adventures, are these the only options? they seem expensive! i'm going to start researching more earnestly now ... thanks.
