Hi,

Flying DEL-KTM will cost USD280 return, and take 1 hour 45 mins. Indian Airlines flies daily at 1145 hrs, Royal Nepal flies daily in late evening.
Delhi is closer to KTM than Mumbai.

Going over land will take a few days, involve multiple changes and overnite stops and be exhausting.

Adding up all costs, the flight might be just as cost-competitive .. and, will be more comfortable.
