Maryann Thexton

 The driving
force behind Thexton Racing Stables is Maryann Thexton.Maryann has enjoyed
extensive experience in virtually all facets of the racing and breeding
industry both domestically and internationally in a career which now spans
over twenty years. After being educated at Roseworthy Agricultural
College, Maryann completed a Horse Husbandry and Management Diploma which
provided her with all the basic building blocks necessary for success in
her chosen field.

David Wiegold
(Stable Manager)
 Born in Dubbo and raised on a
6,000 acre mixed farm, David, better known as Alf, is a
self employed motor vehicle
industry expert, sales consultant , and a successful race horse owner.
Perhaps the best horse Alf has raced was the talented sprinter and
subsequent sire Select Prince, who won nine races including the Group
One Champagne Stakes at two.
Alf's role of stable manager encompasses several roles which insure
most day to day operational issues are covered at our Gold Coast
Stables and Administration centre.

Don McAdam
(Partnership Accounts Manager)
 Self Employed, operates First
Class Accounts in Tugun with his wife Carolyn.
Don is a long term Gold Coast resident, and is extensively involved in
several key aspects of the Tugun community including its award winning
Surf Club, as well as the establishment of a community branch of the
Bendigo Bank. Don and Carolyn currently part own Thexton Racing's
promising sprinter Planagram.Don provides book keeping management services for several of Thexton
Racing Stables racing partnerships. This service includes collection
and payment of accounts, distribution of balance sheets, profit and
loss statements, GST compliance and bank reconciliations.

Loy
(Foreperson)
 Former champion show jump rider
from Deniliquin.
Worked in racing for 15 years plus. Kim is wonderful horse womenand
dedicated employee, and an integral part of Thexton Racing's success
on the Gold Coast.
Kim is a highly competent work rider, who plays a vital part of the
conditioning of many of Thexton Racing's key members.
Aside from playing an important behind the scenes role in Thexton
Racing, Kim attends most race meetings insuring a no-hitch raceday for
our runners and their owners.
