I bought my 4WD, a 1989 Toyota Landcruiser FJ62, in early 2000 with the intention of buying a trailer boat.  I eventually bought the boat in December 2001, but not before I found other fun ways to make the most of the car.

After trying out off roading on a commercial learn to 4WD course, I joined my closest 4WD club (the AWDC of Sydney) in mid 2001.
